We would like to thank all exhibitors and visitors for their attendance and for making this year’s show an organisers’ dream and a truly great event. We were thrilled to welcome so many brand new stands alongside our well-seasoned exhibitors this year and hope to keep adding new and exciting stands in the years to come.

“By far the best show yet” and “Exhibitor quality was outstanding” are just some of the excellent feedback we received from the show so it looks like you agree.

As a Kernock organisational first, we featured some interactive boardroom seminars run by the HTA and RHS. With the aim of helping growers keep up to date with the latest industry changes and in particular the emotive subject of the transition to peat-free growing media. These were free for all visitors to attend on the day to listen and discuss and proved very popular with full rooms and some lengthy discussions. So much so that we plan to provide similar talks in next year’s show.

Our New Product Awards ceremony was kindly presented by guest judge Alan Down, former HTA President. Five winners were carefully chosen from a wide range of entries. Our winners are:

Best Annual Plant – Sponsored by ACT Publishing, was awarded to Kernock Park Plants’ Scaevola Stardiva® ‘Blue’
Best Perennial Plant – Sponsored by Perennial Charity, also went to Kernock Park Plants with Agastache ‘Beelicious Pink’
Best New Sustainable Product – Sponsored by Elburg Smit, is a new initiative for 2024 allowing products either made from or incorporating sustainable materials or manufacturing processes to feature. Our winner was Growmoor BetterGrowing with their 100% WrymCast Sustainable Compost
Best Show Exhibit – Sponsored by Modform, was awarded to Chapel Cottage Plants
Best Peat-Free Product – Sponsored by the RHS Peat Free Team, is also brand new for this year and very much right on topic! This final award was proudly presented to Melcourt Ltd’s SylvaGrow Seed Compost

We now look towards 2025, aiming as always, to make it bigger and better and we will see you all there!
